A little behind schedule today! We went camping this weekend and didn't get home until this morning - so that set me a little behind schedule.
Also, wanted to mention that I'm going to post last Monday's Winner on this post (and continue to do that every week - rather than posting the winner on Fridays!) For the July 23rd Monday Morning "Happy Birthday" card Jamie is the winner!
On Monday Mornings I will be posting a card to be given away - with my appreciation - for visiting my blog. All you have to do is post a comment to this post to be enterd into the drawing. Go to the bottom of this post and click on the word comment. The drawing will start on Mondays, when I post the card, until Wednesday evenings at 12:00 midnight. Only one entry please. The winner will be announced on the following Monday.
I've had this stamp for quite awhile - bought it on Ebay - something about it I really liked but had never used it. When I saw a Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoaststampers.com I thought of this stamp- our inspiration was a Menorah - the challenge can be found here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...d.php?t=270758
It was the bird on the last Menorah that reminded me of my stamp, then I tired to carry out the theme of the strung beads on the wire. The branch represents the candle holders across the bottom of the Menorah and the blingy leaves represent the brightness of the Menorah.
