Thanks for stopping by today. I'm playing around with adding how-to video's to my blog. I have a long way to go but I thought I'd share my first (very unprofessional) how-to video with you. I have lots of things to work on - completing my sentences, better camera angel, better explanation - etc. etc.
I hope you find this a little useful or at the least it gets you motivated to craft a little.

Close To My Heart "Melt My Heart" S291- this stamp set is slightly used, in excellent condition, rubber on wood, 5 in the set.
Don't you just need to have three hands sometimes...with the kids, with the dinner prep or when your scrappin' and craftin'?? This is how I pick up my third hand when I'm adding a ribbon to a scrap page or a card.
Supplies: Tape runner, left over sticker paper or zyron paper backing, a small piece of skid-proof shelf liner (not shown) - in the photo below the piece I'm working on is on the zyron paper backing - this makes for a very slippery surface to work on - you'll have much more success if you cut a small piece of shelf liner to use as a work surface. The shelf liner is also great under your stamp pads to keep them in place while stamping!
Run the tape runner on the ribbon beyond the width of the item your tying the ribbon onto. Glue the ribbon to the back of the paper - you will have sticky ribbon facing up
stick the edges of the sticky ribbon to the paper (this is your third hand) - it will now stay in place making it easier for you to tie it. To make a nice bow with your right hand reach over your left hand to the left side of the ribbon, take the left ribbon under the right side then up and over, the piece that is now on the top piece goes to the right of the bottom, then behind, then thru the loop. As your doing this keep the ribbon flat and uncrinkled. You will always end up with a flat, straight across bow using this method.

The Cuttlebug is great for adding detailed dimension to your scrapbook pages and interest to a background for stamped images.
What is a Cuttlebug, how do you use it, what are you talking about - Cuttlebug?? I can't think of any BUGS that I want to cuttle with!!
