The sample Board Book is done!  All I need to do now is cut the paper and gather the supplies for the Class!  I had so much fun with this paper and all these fun stickers.  I've added some crowns, som bling and some fancy corners - can't wait for you to see the entire completed book and help you complete your book!

Jack & Abbey Workshop

This is page one - I'll be posting all four pages as soon as I get them scanned into the computer.  All the pages were created with the help of the new Close To My Heart Reflections Layout Book.

Morning Starts At 9:00 AM - with Sharon C., Cheryl, Kathy P., Barb and Jamie

Evening Starts At 7:00 PM - with Alisha, Suzanne and LIsa.  Dorothy and Kaye will be cropping

All class participants will recieve the pre-cut Jack & Abbey Love Elsie Papers to complete four (4) 12 X 12 Scrapped Pages.  You will also recieve 70 pieces of matching, decorative cardstock stickers, two (2) chip buttons, photo hangers, photo tabs, various ribbons at your disposal, Close To My Heart Metal Tag and CTMH mini flowers with brads.

If you like feel free to bring a 1" circle punch, decorator ribbon, fancy flowers, chipboard letters and anything else that you feel will enhance your pages. 

Photo's on page one are all four by four.

The Photo's on page two measure:

1 - 4 X 5-3/4

2 - 2-1/4 X 5

2 - 3-14 X 5

I will have sizzix letters and machine available for your use in cutting out letters if you do not have chipboard letters to use.

Some embellishments on my samples will not be in your kit.  These pages are embellished to go with my photo's - feel free to bring any extra embellishments you'd like to go with your photo's.

If you'd like to add flowers to your pages but don't have any we can punch them out from paper with the Spellbinder Flower Templates I have here.

You have lots of options here.  The two photo's I have on this page measure 4 X 6.  The panel can be either vertical (as shown) or horizontal to fit your photo's.

Kay & Company Wild Saffron

For your approval - pages 3 and 4 of the Wild Saffron Workshop.

Page three has a fun Coluzzle File Folder filled with two tags.  The tags can be used for photo's or journaling.  How do you like all those little scallop flowers - I think they are just the cutest things - I'll try to have them pre-punched for you. 

Lots of chocolate sponging on all four of the Wild Saffron Pages.  And I have to tell you - I've been using the Stampin' Up! Rough Textures Jumbo Wheel - just inking it up on the stamp pad and running it over whatever I want to  distress - look on the little flowers on the top right edge you can see the wheel marks in the center.  The wheel is quick, easy and effective.

This is page four of the Wild Saffron Workshop - you might recognize it from another class - first one to guess which class correctly will get a little prize in class tomorrow.  Just leave your answer in a comment to this posting.

What about all these cute little arrows - yep - I got my new Stampin' Up! My Way Punch!  This punch will work great with the Seeing Stars Workshop in April.

Wild Saffron Workshop

I'm very excited to present the first two pages of the Wild Saffron Workshop. 

What to Bring:

Basic Scrapbooking Supplies

Optional Things to Bring: 

Chipboard Letters, Craft Scissors/Edge Distresser, Chocolate Ink Pad, Sponge, Flowers, Bling,

Note:  Most of the flowers I used are from the Prima Flowers that many of you purchased - I have two more boxes of these flowers on the Cash & Carry table.  I've also mixed up the letters for the words "Grateful Heart" - the large letters are Kay & Company Wild Saffron and some of the small letters are from the September Memory Works Scrapbook Club Kit - Basic Grey Recess Mini Monograms. 

Techniques We'll Be Using:

Stamping, Distressing (Paper & Ink), Sewing (Optional), Die Cutting & Embossing (with the Cuttlebug), Hanging Words, Cut Up Letters, Punches, Tearing, Grunge Letters (You will need to bring your own chipboard letters if you'd like to do this.)

What will come with your kit:  Kay & Company Wild Saffron Designer Papers, Cardstock, Twill, Ribbon, Twine, Photo Hangers, Tags, Hearts, Punched Paper Flowers (not shown) and Buttons, Kay & Company Wild Saffron Tags.  The stamp sets used are Close To My Heart April Word Puzzle and Stampin' Up! Always.

Tomorrow night I'm crafting with my Granddaughter and 19 little Brownie's - so off to get that cut up and organized.  Once I'm done with the Brownie's I'll be back with more information for the workshop.

I just was checking my daughter's shop on Etsy to see what she's been up to and came across this piece that I just had to share "Soo Chow Jade" one of a kind necklace.  It is just manificient - what do you think?!?  Also, did you notice on the top of this blog Julie has some Blog Candy going on right now - I believe until Friday - click on the link way up at the top and it will take you to the blog candy.  OK - back upstairs to finish getting dinner on the table and watch some of the Ohio and National Politics!! 

Blue Jean Jacket - a little black top - and a nice frilly skirt with some high boots and this way cool necklace - yep!  I'm looking good -teehee - sorry just dreamin' for a minute - OK - now I'm headed back upstairs!

Workshop Sneak Peak!

Here is a little sneak peak for the Workshop on Friday, February 8th.

Glitter Workshop - Tuesday, January 8th

Here are pages 3 and 4 for our Workshop next week.  I'll list the photo sizes under the layouts.  We will again be making our own transparencies and a Poinsettia Embellishment.  There are more goodies that go with these pages but I didn't want to stick them on until I had my photo's.  I'll also be adding a title to the pages when I get the photo's on.  Here you go - hope you like!!!

See the pretty little poinsettia in the upper corner - in the center of the flower are yellow sequins I got from my Aunt Joanne - I'm sure they're very old and for a little twinkle we'll add a little red glitter.  The circle and scallop are cut with the Spellbinder Tom got me for Christmas - so that will be all cut for you - whew! No circle cutting to do!!

Glitter Workshop - Seats Are Still Available!! Email or Call To Save Your Spot!

I'm so very excited about these two pages - but I have to say that Glitter just does not scan well!  The pages are really full of sparkle in real life.  We are going to be doing a few things we've never done before!

Transparencies are hot in scrapbooking right now and I'm going to show you how to make your own.  We're also going to embellish page one with a fun little snow globe.  And I'll be making glitter letters for everyone to really bring some fun to your page!!  We'll be adding some frilly snowflakes with bling, wintry stamped words and snowy white satin ribbon with a touch of silver thread.

IMPORTANT:  I need to know if you want to use the word snow or some other short word.  I've used a variety of chipboard letters that I've applied glitter to.  I'll be using the sizzix for your letters.  I'll have them ready to go before class.  IF you want to use your own glitter letters please bring them with you and I'll glitter those for you when you get here.  Please email me your preference ASAP - thanks!

IMPORTANT:  Again, I would need to know what short word you'd like on this page and whether or not you want to bring your own chipboard letters.  NOTICE THE FANCY "H" I have at the beginning of "Happy"  this is a letter I picked up at Target.  I do have some extra letters I purchased for sale - limited supply - let me know if your interested.  I have the following letters:  F, H and J - please email me at [email protected] -"F" would be Fun, "H" Happy and "J" Joy.

I'll have the other two pages posted tomorrow.  Then I'll be working on the December Scrapbook Club Kit - having trouble getting myself organized in this new year - but eventually it will all fall into place.  Did you get your January Scrapbook Kit yet - your not going to be disappointed.  I'll have more on that on Monday.

Daisy D's Scrapbook Workshop - 2 Seats Available!

I'm excited to show you two of the pages we'll be doing at next Friday's Workshop. There are still two seats available if you'd like to sign up. The Class is $16.00 for four 12 X 12 layouts.  The Class includes: 2-Sheets of Rub On Words/Designs, 1-Sheet of Die Cut Tags and 1-Sheet of Words (Family Matters, Together We Make Family, Our Story, & Happy Together).  Some embellishments shown are not part of the kit.

I've changed out some of my letters that came with the kit with Kay & Company Chipboard Letters - feel free to bring your chipboard letters - or just use the one's that come with your supplies for the class.  I've also added a chipboard swirl that is not in the kit.  We'll be adding Texture and a Corner Embellishment with the Cuttlebug, A Scallop look with the Stampin' Up! 1" Circle Punch, another Corner Embellishment with the Sizzix Die Cutter.  The Reminders List on the right is a rub-on from you class kit. The bling I've added are Close To My Heart Sparkles (please feel free to bring bling!)

Please feel free to bring two 4 X 6 photo's for this page and we'll add a faux scallop edge to them.  Along with rub-on swirls you'll have your choice of lots of swirly lovey dovey words you can stamp on your pages or directly on your photo's.  We'll also be working with a little paint on this page.  Some embellishments shown are not included in the class.

Fancy Pants Class - Friday, October 5th

These are the four layouts for the Friday, October 5, 2007 Class.  Start gathering your buttons - (if you would like to have buttons on your pages as shown) - please bring buttons with you.  Thanks!  I loved working with the deep rich colors of these papers.  Everyone will get the matching ribbon from Fancy Pants to add to their pages.  The last two pages have a quiet elegance to them - they would be beautiful for heritage photos, remembering Grandma or maybe a very special event that celebrated a very special moment.  Bring photo's if you'd like and go home with completed pages.

I've been exploring different ways to highlight an image on a card or scrapbook page - I've come up with eight (8) different techniques.  Some of these spotlight techniques will be used to make cards and I'll have samples for the others.
